Pay bills - A range of bills can be payed at the Post Office® ranging from Telephone, Cable TV, Gas, Electricity, Water, Mail Order, Council Tax, Council Rent, Housing Association Rent, Inland Revenue Self Assessment, Insurance, Record/CD/Book Club, TV and Video Rentals. NOTE NOT ALL AVAILABLE AT EVERY POST OFFICE® but many are just check out which are suitable for you. Bills, along with many other services at the Post Office® can now also be paid by debit card. However, there are a few which can only be paid for by cash such as Postal Orders and Saving Stamps, so please enquire before purchasing.

Postal Orders - Now even easier to use, Postal Orders now look just like cheques with the payment amount printed in words and numbers. They're available in any value up to £250, so there's less need to buy more than one for a single purchase. You can have the payee's name printed on the new style Postal Orders, and they can either be left open for instant cashing at any Post Office®, or can be crossed, which makes them even more secure.
